Yasuragi was there before it began
Before the events of her own story, Emiko attended Sun-Mi Park's debut concert in Seoul as a VIP guest, using her social media handle Yasuragi. She was nineteen and entirely human; the bonding event that would change everything had not yet happened, and Harmony had not yet found her. Sun-Mi noticed her from the stage and recognised the content creator she had watched at two in the morning, the street artist who blended Shinto shrine imagery with urban spray-paint. What neither of them knew was that Seol-hwa, the Gumiho spirit channelled through Sun-Mi's covenant, turned her ancient perception toward Emiko in the post-show dressing room and detected something she could not explain: a potential tied to the future rather than the present. The supernatural world had registered Emiko. Her story simply had not started yet.
